Are you looking to be part of something meaningful?

At The Babes Project, we walk alongside vulnerable women as they navigate pregnancy and early parenting, offering support, education, and genuine care in a safe, welcoming environment.

If you are considering applying to volunteer with us at Babes, please read the following Information about Volunteering

Roles currently available are:

  • Perinatal Support Volunteer
The Perinatal Support Volunteer plays a key role in delivering The Babes Project’s Perinatal Education Program, providing consistent one-on-one practical support to women throughout pregnancy and early parenting. Based at our Croydon or Frankston Support Centre, volunteers build trusted, professional relationships with women, helping them strengthen confidence, develop parenting skills and prepare for life with their baby. Working closely with staff and fellow volunteers, the role includes facilitating education sessions, maintaining case notes, supporting referrals and centre activities, and contributing to a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental environment. We are looking for compassionate, reliable and resilient people who align with our values, understand the importance of empathy, confidentiality and professional boundaries, and are committed to walking alongside women with dignity and respect.

The Babes Project is looking for warm, organised and reliable volunteers to provide front desk and administration support at our Support Centres in Croydon or Frankston. This is a varied, people-focused role for someone who enjoys being part of a team, helping things run smoothly and creating a welcoming first impression for the women, families, volunteers and supporters who walk through our doors. Alongside general administration, reception and practical support, we’d especially love to hear from people who bring additional skills in areas such as policy or grant writing, HR, social media, communications, PR or donor support. Whether you’re looking to use existing professional skills for a meaningful purpose or simply love being the person who helps keep everything organised behind the scenes, this is an opportunity to make a practical contribution to the work of The Babes Project.
